 Unfortunately, after serving riveting 2 minute art movies for $1 for many years, even with the added incentive of a free can of pop, Vendavision retired and so it is no longer seeking submissions. Was it unfair competition from Youtube? The fact everyone can watch movies anywhere on their phone? Did I just grow up, got married and moved to London, Ontario? Nobody knows. It wasn't the landlords rack renting it, in the upside down economics of Vendavision the landowners were great and get well deserved applause (yet not a penny).
NEVERTHELESS, if you have 2 minute movie that you would have submitted to Vendavision, post it on your Bluesky and email me the link to it at Leif@Harmsen.net because I'd love to see it! Who knows, we might resuscitate Vendavision one day.
